Disney was a lot of fun! We wish that you could have seen Cadence, because she was having a ball! Although she is still a little frightened of the characters up close she is their biggest fan from about 10 yards. She will have to show you her autograph books-- yes she completely filled one up, even while sleeping! Please enjoy the plethora of pictures that we posted on the family photo page. Although Orlando was warm and exciting there is no place like home. We are certainly happy to be back, but not looking forward to the end of summer as it quickly approaches. I start back with rookie camp on Monday, followed by band camp the following Monday, and then we are back at work with pre-planning the next Monday.
Please pray for us as we are faced at the mercy of the government with a three day furlough. I would imagine that this impact could be reduced if they spread the pay reduction over the course of the year, but our county has not given us any information on to when or how these furloughs will affect us. Our only communication was from the Superintendent asking for us to be patient while they figure out how to make the decision equitable for all involved - sounds like he is trying to make a profit from it? Prayer and the decision to not re-elect incumbents is the only way our government will ever recover.
